Let’s Get Smarter – October 27th Community Education Meeting

Our next Community Education Meeting will be on Zoom on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 7pm. 

Our speaker is Lisa Stroud, RN Director of Physician and Provider Relations for Tucker Pavilion.

Here is Lisa’s bio:

Lisa will discuss HCA Virginia’s behavioral health programs and the full range of inpatient ant outpatient services for seniors, adults and children. HCA provides educational and therapeutic behavioral health programs to improve coping skills, assist with symptom management and prevent relapse.

Lisa has been the Director of Physician and & Provider Relations for Tucker Pavilion for over 9 years.  She is responsible for educating the community about behavioral health services and resources available at Tucker Pavilion.  She has lived in the Richmond area for 12 years.  She has familiarized herself with various aspects of behavioral health services available in the Richmond market.  She makes herself available to providers, educators, the community and patients for help connecting to behavioral health services.  She continues to erase the stigma of seeking and receiving mental health support.  

What is community education at FACES? We ask the experts and those with lived experience in all aspects of the mental health and wellness field to come speak so we can find peace of mind and have less stress when caring for our loved ones with a brain disorder. Better mental health outcomes for all is our ultimate goal.  We love getting smarter with you!
