Fundraisers
FACES is funded solely by private donations, grants and targeted fundraising efforts. We host several fundraisers each year, including a Fall BBQ at King’s Korner Restaurant. This year’s Fabulous Fall Fundraiser at King’s Korner will be on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 6pm – 8pm. More details will be posted closer to the date.

Proceeds from all our fundraisers enable FACES to keep our support group meetings and community education meetings free and open to the public. These funds also aid our work with the Chesterfield Suicide Awareness and Prevention Coalition (The Coalition), a group FACES co-founded in 2015. The Coalition is comprise of mental health organizations from Chesterfield County, and we collaborate on suicide prevention efforts in Chesterfield County. Our presentation,“Raise Your Voice About Suicide Awareness and Prevention” is a one hour PowerPoint that outlines how to recognize someone in crisis, how to help them and information about local mental health organizations.
