International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day – November 22nd

Every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving the non-profit organization American Foundation for Suicide Prevention hosts hundreds of events world wide for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day (Survivor Day). These events are where survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. If you or someone you know would like to attend the Richmond Metro area’s event this year, please see the information provided below.

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is on Saturday, November 22, 2025 and will be held at Richmond First Baptist Church located at 2707 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA from 11am to 2:30pm. Both survivors and non-loss survivors may attend. Lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees. Parking will be available on the Mulberry Street entrance parking lot. If the parking lot is full, there is plenty of parallel parking on the surrounding streets which include Arthur Ashe Blvd., Monument Ave, and Park Ave. Please enter the church through the Mulberry Street entrance.

Please register here for this event.
